My last holiday-Chinese new year

My last holiday is Chinese New Year in January 27, 2009. It is my first time to celebrate it outside China. In the past, I celebrated it with my family every winter in China. But this year I was in Australia and it was summer here! So a snow white festival in my memory changed into a colourful one. It is funny and exciting. Some of my friends(including Joyce), my husband and I went to Royal National Park together at that day. It only took us one hour to drive there but the park is so big that we spent 2 hours to drive in there to see different spots. After that we went back home and made dumpling for dinner together. It is the traditional food in China for Chinese New Year. We had a nice day but I still missed my family because Chinese New Year is a festival specially for family.

Introduction

My name is Rui Zhang and my english name is Kitty. I'm from Beijing, China. I was a software engineer before I came to Australia 8 months ago. IT is my major and what I'm good at but actually I don't like it^_^ Instead I like travelling very much. I enjoy the feeling in different culture, seeing different landscape and within different people. It is an eye opener for me!
